A BROKEN down lorry has forced the Blackwall Tunnel to close sparking traffic chaos for motorists on their way to London this morning.
Drivers face delays at the northbound entrance to the tunnel with queues stretching back as far as Sun-in-the-Sands.

The roadway was shut for more than half an hour this morning up until 5.45am but all lanes have now re opened but southbound traffic is reportedly flowing well.
The tunnel links Tower Hamlets with Greenwich by going underneath the River Thames.
